Oliva came over this afternoon because there was a half day at school. Claire and Olivia wanted to build a fort and Luke fetched some cardboard out of the garage. Here’s what it looked like:

On Thursday, April 9, Luke, Claire and Jason took a trip to the Trevor Zoo in Millbrook, NY. We took these great photos:
Yesterday, Dad sawed off a small branch that was in his face when he was trying to dig some fill out of the dirt pile. Today, Luke noticed something interesting. The sap from inside the branch started dripping out and formed a… SAPSICLE!
Luke found this piece of ice frozen inside a tipped-over bucket. It looks like there’s a spiderweb frozen inside.
On September 21, Claire, Luke and Dad took a late afternoon hike up to Bonticou Crag on the Mohonk Preserve. It was a beautiful day.
The Deen-Taylors were in Chicago from Aug. 14 to Aug 17 visiting our friends Edward and Mary. We had a great time and saw some really cool things, as you can see from these photos:
