Here are some recent portraits of Jane & Bob Taylor’s new puppy, Solo.

Earlier this winter, Claire and Luke worked very hard to design and build this wheelchair — entirely out of K’nex! They didn’t follow any instructions; we just looked at a couple of pictures of wheelchairs on the internet in order to come up with their own design.

Oliva came over this afternoon because there was a half day at school. Claire and Olivia wanted to build a fort and Luke fetched some cardboard out of the garage. Here’s what it looked like:

On Thursday, April 9, Luke, Claire and Jason took a trip to the Trevor Zoo in Millbrook, NY. We took these great photos:

Luke thought it would be fun to stand on this stump while Claire took his picture.

Claire went through the woods and found this branch to sit on, with her feet up in the air!

A leaf managed to thaw this hole in the ice!

Yesterday, Dad sawed off a small branch that was in his face when he was trying to dig some fill out of the dirt pile. Today, Luke noticed something interesting. The sap from inside the branch started dripping out and formed a… SAPSICLE!

Luke found this piece of ice frozen inside a tipped-over bucket. It looks like there’s a spiderweb frozen inside.

On September 21, Claire, Luke and Dad took a late afternoon hike up to Bonticou Crag on the Mohonk Preserve. It was a beautiful day.
